Ever since we launched the standard 26mm EVO soft points, we've been carefully listening to what you have to say. And one question kept popping up in our DMs and fan groups: "Could you please release a longer version?"That's a request we took to heart.

You Asked, We Listened: The Longer Version is Here!

To be perfectly honest, simply making a soft-tip point longer is no small feat. It presents an immediate and significant challenge: as the length increases, the point becomes physically more susceptible to bending and breaking. If we had just stretched out the original EVO design, its durability would have plummeted. That’s not what we’re about. It goes against the entire philosophy behind our products.

To crack this problem, our team dedicated significant time to a two-pronged solution:

I. Material Reinvention: We went back to the drawing board and reformulated our proprietary polymer blend, optimizing the balance between toughness and hardness specifically for the new, extended body.

II. Structural Optimization: We re-engineered the point's internal structure to better withstand the altered mechanical stresses that come with the increased length.

After solving these core issues and producing the final version, we discovered something that genuinely surprised us.

An Unexpected Upgrade in Durability

The brand-new, extended EVO soft-tip point doesn't just meet the demand for extra length. In our comprehensive durability tests, it actually outperformed our current standard-length model.

Why Not Just Make It Harder?

This brings us to another question we get all the time: Why don't you make your dart points harder?

It's a great question, and the answer gets to the heart of the EVO's purpose. We designed the EVO soft-tip point primarily for steel-tip players who need a seamless transition to a soft-tip board on a temporary basis. If the material is too hard, its "toughness" and flexibility inevitably decrease. This dramatically increases the risk of the point snapping, especially when used with the heavier barrels that steel-tip players prefer. For a premium product, that kind of fragility just isn’t acceptable.

PS: If you plan on practicing soft-tip darts for extended sessions, we strongly recommend using barrels that do not exceed 22g to ensure the longevity of your points.
